Christophe El-Hamaoui joined our team as a student in 2020. He graduated from the Université de Montréal with a Bachelor of Laws degree. Christophe also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Relations, a certificate from Renmin University of China obtained during a student exchange program in 2017, as well as a certificate in negotiation from Harvard Business School Online.
Through his academic career, Christophe got a start in the job market, specifically in the field of professional relations, at Revenu Québec. This experience allowed him to refine his analytical and synthesis skills, and to develop his research and legal drafting abilities.
During his law studies, Christophe was actively involved in the faculty. He acted as Vice-President of Events for the Comité Droit du travail where he was called upon to work on a collective bargaining simulation. Furthermore, Christophe studied current governance issues by taking part in the drafting of a study directed by Professor Julie Biron on the framework of ESG disclosure mechanisms.
