Bertrand Paiement has been practicing in the field of insurance claims since 1981. He makes a skillful use of technology to manage complex matters. Difficult technical issues and cases requiring various expert testimonies are his favourites.

He defended the vast majority of the 20 insurers sued in the Ice Storm Class action which was settled in 2013.

He represents casualty insurers in their various fields of activity and has extensive experience before the Quebec trial and appeal courts, as well as administrative tribunals.

He has also been advising clients on coverage issues for more than 30 years.
